Evening tour on the frozen lapland sea

A peaceful evening adventure on the frozen Lapland sea. Travel by snowmobile sled to our Lapland sea camp, enjoy a crackling campfire under the stars, and explore the small island of Tervakari on foot. With a bit of luck, the Northern Lights may appear above the frozen horizon.
Your guides pick you up at one of our meeting points in either Haparanda or Tornio. From there, you travel safely and comfortably in a sled approximately 6 km out across the frozen sea. The route follows safe, carefully inspected ice that our team monitors daily. When you arrive at the activity camp, the warm glow from the grill hut welcomes you. Outside, a campfire burns by the shoreline, creating a perfect atmosphere for an Arctic evening outdoors.
You can relax by the fire, take photos, or simply enjoy the quiet winter landscape. Guests are invited to take a short walk around the small island of Tervakari — a peaceful circular stroll surrounded by sea ice. On clear nights, the stars shine bright, and if conditions align, the Northern Lights may appear above the frozen bay. Before returning to land by sled, you warm up in the grill hut with a hot drink and grill sausages over the fire — a classic Nordic evening tradition.
