Whitewater Rafting at Kukkolaforsen
Experience the rapids up close on a safe and guided whitewater rafting trip through the flowing waters of Kukkolaforsen. Our experienced guides will introduce paddling techniques and safety procedures before heading out onto the river.
Rafting takes place in five-metre inflatable boats with space for one rower and up to ten passengers. The excursion lasts approximately two hours from departure at the restaurant until your return – during this time, you will descend the rushing rapids twice.
Included in the programme
All necessary equipment is provided:
Wetsuit and neoprene boots
Life jacket
Helmet
Please wear swimwear or underwear beneath the equipment, and optionally a long-sleeved shirt. Bring a change of clothes and a towel.
Minimum age: 15 years
Time and Place
The programme starts at 13:00 swedish time from Niittyranta, where a ferry will take you to the Finnish side of the River Torne.
Please check in at Kukkolaforsen reception at 12:45 for further instructions.
Important Information
A minimum of 8 participants per boat is required. If this number is not reached, the activity will be cancelled no later than 2 days prior to departure and a full refund will be issued.
